Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Plant Custodian. The Manufacturing Plant Custodian will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our manufacturing facility, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing:

Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas within the manufacturing plant, including production floors, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.

Adhere to strict cleaning protocols and safety standards.

Waste Management:

Collect, segregate, and dispose of trash, recyclables, and hazardous waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.

Keep waste disposal areas clean and well-organized.

Floor Maintenance:

Sweep, mop, and maintain production floors to remove debris and ensure a safe working environment.

Report any floor damage or safety hazards promptly.

Restroom Maintenance:

Clean and restock restroom facilities regularly to promote hygiene and employee comfort.

Report any plumbing or maintenance issues for prompt resolution.

Supply Management:

Monitor cleaning and janitorial supply levels and reorder as necessary.

Maintain an inventory of cleaning materials and promptly report supply shortages to the supervisor.

Safety Compliance:

Strictly follow all safety guidelines and procedures while performing custodial duties.

Immediately report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with other plant employees and departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is advantageous.

Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and proper use of cleaning equipment.
